I am not getting to post on this blog as much as I would like. Here is a picture of Joaquin at his first birthday party. I threw a french toast breakfast brunch in the backyard. It was an amazingly warm, yellow sun fall day. The five or so babies played with his toys. Joaquin ate french toast (his favorite food) and worked at turning off the ipod player. There were no new toys for Joaquin to interest him. Maybe a dozen friends without children came to celebrate with us. I enjoyed the party more than any event I have held in a long time.
